Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications

Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Required:

• 5+ years experience developing embedded C/C++ Linux applications
• 3+ years experience developing board level firmware and device drivers
• Networking programming experience (TCP/UDP Sockets, wireless, RTSP)
• Experience using low level debuggers (JTAG)
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications
• Experience porting/configuring Linux kernels

Desired:

• Ubuntu Linux and Microsoft Windows-based development experience
• Technical knowledge of video/audio encoding/decoding
• Familiar with use of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Practical knowledge of Nokia’s Qt Framework
• Familiar with .NET 2.0 Framework.
• Experience in a full life-cycle development process with a commercial product.
• Enjoys working in a multi-developer environment with an existing large code base.
